1. Last Seen & Online Hide చేయడం
Path:
WhatsApp → Settings → Privacy → Last Seen & Online
Recommended:
- Last Seen: Nobody / My Contacts
- Online: Same as Last Seen
👉 ఇలా పెడితే ఎప్పుడు online ఉన్నారో ఇతరులకు కనిపించదు.
2. Profile Photo Privacy
Path:
Settings → Privacy → Profile Photo
Recommended:
- My Contacts
👉 Unknown persons మీ photo చూడలేరు.
3. About Privacy
Path:
Settings → Privacy → About
Recommended:
- My Contacts
4. Status Privacy
Path:
Settings → Privacy → Status
Recommended:
- My Contacts Except…
లేదా - Only Share With…
👉 మీ status ఎవరు చూడాలో మీరు decide చేయొచ్చు.
5. Read Receipts (Blue Ticks)
Path:
Settings → Privacy → Read Receipts
OFF చేస్తే:
- మీరు message చదివినా blue ticks వెళ్లవు
- కానీ మీరు కూడా ఇతరుల blue ticks చూడలేరు
6. Groups Privacy
Path:
Settings → Privacy → Groups
Recommended:
- My Contacts
లేదా - My Contacts Except…
👉 Random people group లో add చేయలేరు.
7. Live Location
Path:
Settings → Privacy → Live Location
Check:
- Unused locations → Stop Sharing
👉 Location tracking avoid అవుతుంది.
8. Calls Privacy (Important)
Path:
Settings → Privacy → Calls
Turn ON:
- Silence Unknown Callers
👉 Spam & scam calls silent అవుతాయి.
9. Chat Lock
Path:
Open Chat → Tap Name → Chat Lock
Use:
- Fingerprint / Face Lock enable చేయండి
👉 Private chats secure అవుతాయి.
10. App Lock (Most Important)
Path:
WhatsApp → Settings → Privacy → App Lock
Enable:
- Face ID / Fingerprint
- Auto lock immediately
👉 Phone open ఉన్నా WhatsApp lock లో ఉంటుంది.
11. Two-Step Verification
Path:
Settings → Account → Two-Step Verification
Enable:
- 6-digit PIN set చేయండి
- Email add చేయండి
👉 SIM swap hacking నుండి protection ఉంటుంది.
12. End-to-End Encrypted Backup
Path:
Settings → Chats → Chat Backup → End-to-End Encrypted Backup
Turn ON:
- Strong password పెట్టండి
👉 Google Drive/iCloud backup కూడా secure అవుతుంది.
13. Disappearing Messages
Path:
Open Chat → Tap Name → Disappearing Messages
Recommended:
Sensitive chats కి ON చేయండి.
👉 Messages automatic గా delete అవుతాయి.
14. Block Unknown Numbers
Path:
Open Chat → More → Block
👉 Scam & fake accounts avoid చేయొచ్చు.
15. Security Notifications
Path:
Settings → Account → Security Notifications
Turn ON:
👉 Encryption key change అయితే alert వస్తుంది.

✅ OTP ఎవరికీ చెప్పొద్దు
✅ Unknown links click చేయొద్దు
✅ Fake APK WhatsApp apps install చేయొద్దు
